The students were then to come up with their own version of Stone Soup. They used the same story line, but chose their own characters and setting. Here is where their imaginations took them!

This week in Social Studies we are talking about our families. We discussed our nuclear family (immediate family) and our extended family. We also touched on cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. The students were to go home and discuss with their parents their relations. They were then supposed to write down their grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. They used that information to construct a family tree. Check them out! The students and staff had a GREAT time at Champion Games. The students participated in many activities- 8 person relay race, bubbles, bounce houses, face painting, tug-a-war, wheel chair races, and baseball.
Room 120 has been super busy the last month. Here are some activities that the students have been doing. Enjoy! |
