We are ready to have the students back for another great year! There have been a lot of changes at Cuba City Elementary this summer. We are excited for the students to see all the changes that have occurred within the building as well as outside the building.

We could not have asked for a nicer day to go to Vesperman Farms. The students had a great time feeding the animals, riding on the zip line, navigating their way through the corn maze, and playing in the corn box. Each student also got to try their famous Apple Cider Donuts. Now that we are all settled in and back into a routine, we want to say welcome back! We are excited to work with the kiddos again this year!
We have new staff in our room. Help us welcome Mrs. Lora Carius and Mrs. Cindy Moor. We are excited to have them join us! Today the students celebrate their last day. They participated in a variety of activities which included a photo booth, dancing, hoola hooping, ice cream, and popcorn. Today we dyed Easter eggs! The kids loved it. Simple process: Coffee filters Tin foil Food coloring rubber band Lay down tin foil and put the coffee filter on top. Put drops of food coloring on the coffee filter. Wrap egg in coffee filter, tie with rubber band. Let sit for an hour. Unwrap! In honor of Dr.Seuss and his birthday, the kids helped make Green Eggs and... Waffles. The students practiced their measuring skills as well as table etiquette. 100,000 people in Flint, Michigan have been poisoned by toxic water. Let’s work together to provide them with the support they need. YOU can help by donating change/money to purchase cases of water and sanitary supplies.
Please bring change/money to school. There will be a jar/stop sign to put money in outside of Ms. Pollock’s room and by the office. Let’s see if we can meet our goal as a whole school by donating 20 cases of water! Resources United will come to Cuba City to pick up the cases of water. The deadline to bring money is February 26th. A note was sent home with your student regarding Parent Square. This is a tool to communicate back and forth. It is very user friendly. Be sure to check it out! Please let us know if you have any questions.
